1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Transcribo (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this eligibility requirement.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Privacy & Data

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Transcribo processes all audio locally on your device. We do not store, collect, or transmit any audio recordings or transcribed text. Your voice data is processed and immediately discarded.

5. Permitted Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You shall not:

• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
• Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the Service without written permission
• Use the Service in a manner that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality

6. Subscription & Payments

Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription:

• All plans include a 7-day free trial with full access to features.
• Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment provider.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
• Refunds are provided on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including software, design, text, graphics, and logos — are owned by Transcribo and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the software.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that transcription will be 100% accurate in all circumstances, and we recommend reviewing output for critical use cases.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Transcribo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or business opportunities.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
