2. Audio & Voice Data

To turn your speech into text, Transcribo sends your audio to a trusted third-party voice processing provider. We do not store your audio or transcriptions on our own servers. Specifically:

• Your audio is transmitted securely to our voice provider solely to generate a transcription.
• Our voice provider does not retain your audio after processing and does not use it to train AI models.
• Your transcriptions are stored locally on your device, never on our servers.
• We never store your audio or transcriptions, and we never sell them to third parties.
• We do not keep copies of your audio; it is discarded once transcription is complete.

3. Information We Collect

We collect minimal information necessary to operate the service:

• Account Information: Email address when you create an account or purchase a subscription.
• Payment Information: Processed securely through our payment provider. We do not store credit card numbers.
• Device Information: Operating system and app version for compatibility and support purposes.
• License Validation: Periodic checks to verify your subscription status. No usage data is transmitted during this process.

4. Transcription Data

All transcribed text remains exclusively on your device. We do not have access to, collect, or store any of your transcribed content. Your documents, notes, and dictated text are entirely yours and never leave your machine unless you choose to share them yourself.

Your audio is only transmitted transiently to our voice provider over an encrypted connection to generate a transcription, and is not retained afterward. For account information we do store, we implement industry-standard security practices including encryption in transit and at rest.

Our website may use basic analytics to understand general usage patterns (page visits, download counts). We do not track individual user behavior within the application. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time.

Since we don't store your voice or transcription data, there is nothing to delete on our end regarding your actual usage of the application.
